Inbound tour operator
An inbound tour operator organises travel within its own country for visitors arriving from abroad, for example an Indian company running tours in India for foreign tourists.
Inbound operators handle ground arrangements such as hotels, transport, guides and sightseeing, and often sell through overseas travel agents. Their work overlaps closely with that of a DMC.
