GDS (Global Distribution System)
A GDS is a network, such as Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport, that connects travel agents to airline, hotel and car rental inventory and fares.
Travel agents use a GDS to search and book flights. Some travel CRMs, including TripClap CRM, connect to a GDS so flights can be added to quotes without switching tools.
